I think I may be in love with cardamom.  I think I also may be in love with the blog Honestly Yum.  Honestly Yum has amazing photos and easy but delicious recipes.  I found a recipe a while ago for a Cardamom Moscow Mule and knew I would try it.  I actually made it when a couple of friends came to visit.  It’s easy, looks pretty and it’s a little sweet for those who prefer sweet drinks but still has the bite of vodka.  I love Moscow Mules – I once made them as my signature cocktail for Thanksgiving dinner.  I have another version of a Moscow Mule coming up later on the blog…that’s how much I enjoy them.

I honestly, didn’t change a thing with this recipe.  Perfection.  I now keep cardamom pods on hand in case I want to make one of these; you should do the same.  The ginger ale was so easy.  You’re basically making a cardamom and ginger simple syrup and topping it off with sparkling water to give it a little bubbly.
