The Weekend

So Thanksgiving was nice. John and I went to Virginia and chilled for a couple of days – got a chance to see some family and friends, which is always a good thing. It’s always nice to have an extended weekend and both John and I definitely welcomed the opportunity to have some much needed time off. Even though we slept in a little it was still super exhausting. We spent a lot of our time on the highway, driving and sitting in traffic. I can’t say that portion of the holiday made me happy but I’m glad to be back at home and [almost] back to my routine. It’s weird how just a few days can throw off your entire life’s schedule, right? Or is it just me?

With the Brunch Collective right around the corner, my schedule has been pretty rigid but I sort of like it because its allowing me to get stuff done. Anyway, I’m hoping for a good week but I’m sort of already counting down to the end of December when I have another break. On a much happier note, I finally bought my plane ticket to Dallas for Create & Cultivate – so excited. Can’t wait to tell you all about it. The conference isn’t until January but I’m so ready for it.

found my license plate from my first car – so embarrassing.

We went on a double date Sunday afternoon with one of our favorite couples to see Creed. Great movie – go see it! I’ve been a fan of Michael B. Jordan since Friday Night Lights (the show, not the movie); I’m even thinking of revisiting that series soon.

Hope everyone had a safe Thanksgiving – Happy Monday!
