Gold Stars

My birthday celebration went off without a hitch and I couldn’t be happier.  I honestly forgot that I turned a year older, which was probably because I didn’t have to blow out any candles and my friends do a great job of keeping me entertained.

As usual, I had people over for a few snacks and cocktails.

jello shots – details coming soon!
pre-cut lemons, limes and mint for cocktails!

my signature “Pink” cocktail. rosé champagne + pink grapefruit juice.

Don’t you LOVE the gold stars rimmed around the glasses?!  Got the idea from Fashionably Bombed and found them at Michael’s. Yes!

savory way to eat watermelon: watermelon+feta+mint and balsamic vinegar.

I also made tortilla chips with leftover tortillas – so simple and easy – and served with spinach dip (not from homemade).

My weekend was complete with a crab & eggs dish from Canoe for Sunday brunch.  So good!

All in all, I had an amazing birthday!  I was surrounded my great people, lovely gifts and most of all…lots of love!

Next year…Dominican Republic!!
